Ohio Association of Rheumatology advocates and protects patient access to all appropriate treatments for rheumatic diseases. We establish and maintain clinical guidelines defining appropriate treatment of arthritis and rheumatic diseases. Our Doctors nurtures the interest and development of students in the field of rheumatology. The association of Rheumatology augments other organizations involved in arthritis care to enhance the quality of rheumatology services for all patients.
From its inception in 2003, OAR has been a non-profit, 501C3 organization composed of rheumatologists dedicated to the advancement of quality arthritis and musculoskeletal health care for all persons in the State of Ohio.

The upcoming Ohio Association of Rheumatology (OAR) & Arthritis Foundation Joint Advocacy Day is a great opportunity for you to join physicians, nurses, practice managers, patients and advocates from across the state in educating your Ohio State Senators and Representatives on the needs of individuals with rheumatic diseases and our legislative priorities. The morning orientation will feature national and state leaders speaking on effective advocacy techniques, as well as an overview of the legislation you will be requesting your legislators to support. The one day event will culminate with meeting with your legislators and their staff.
